Naomi and Tim spent a weekend at Money Creek campground and
viewed efforts to build the railroad in the mid 1800's. Before
railroads were lain, only goats climbed the Cascade mountains.
Trains thundered past our campsite so we were well aware of
the importance of freight transport from Spokane to Seattle,
at all hours, day and night. Amtrak transported people twice
daily from Chicago to Seattle.
